Building on the innovation and performance of the MDD Machine Direct Drive Pedal, the DW MCD Machined Chain Drive Pedal delivers boutique craftsmanship with a more traditional chain-drive feel. Designed with many of the same patented features, industrial design elements, and precision build quality found in DW MFG direct drive pedals, the MCD offers exceptional responsiveness, durability, and customization. A standout feature is the Adjustable Sprocket-Less Cam with gear-shift style lever, allowing players to quickly switch between the most popular chain-drive cam settings. The lever is positioned for easy access while mounted on the bass drum, making real-time feel adjustments simple and intuitive. The MCD2 double pedal also incorporates DW’s patented Single Post Casting design, which allows the auxiliary pedal to sit closer to the hi-hat stand. This improves ergonomics and enables faster, smoother foot movement — or even simultaneous hi-hat and double pedal playing. Additional premium features include a racing-style all-aluminum perforated footboard with contoured heel plate, Tri-Pivot Swivel Toe Clamp, V.E.R.T. Vertical Spring Adjustment, and DW’s Control Weight Impact Beater for further feel and tone customization. A DW MFG carrying case is included.
